Awards & Accolades: The Legacy at HPPM

HPPM PTA AWARDS

Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet PTA's hard work paid off and has earned the Head Start Award! Your PTA jump-started the year with 75% or more of last year's total membership.

HPPM was named as a National PTA School of Excellence for 2016-2018! This is a recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. As a National PTA School of Excellence, families feel welcomed and empowered to support student success, and PTA is a key partner for continuous school improvement.

In 2018-19, HPPM PTA also received the Golden Apple Award for 100% Faculty Membership. You can see more PTA awards from earlier years here.

Special volunteers who have served Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet in many ways are honored here. We continue to congratulate them and thank them for their service.

HPPM PTA Presidents

HPPM PTA Volunteers of the Year

The Volunteer of the Year award is given to a PTA member who has demonstrated an exceptional volunteer commitment to HPPM (100+ hours of service) and has worked to promote the goals of the PTA.

STAFF MEMBER of the Year

Awarded annually to honor Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet’s finest.

Texas PTA Honorary Lifetime Membership

A volunteer who contributed significantly to the development of the work of the PTA, has given of his/her time and ability in the interest of the young people of Texas, and may or may not be a PTA Member.

Golden Apple Award

The Golden Apple Award is given to a volunteer who had a direct, positive influence on the lives of the children at HPPM. The recipient does not have to be a PTA member.

Bobbie Eldridge Pacesetter of the Year

Awarded annually to two sixth-grade students who exemplify Leadership, Character and Spirit. In memory of “Miss Bobbie” Eldridge, Hamilton Park’s Community Liaison from 1991 to 2005, and dedicated to her unrelenting determination for children to reach for the stars and be Pacesetters.

Freddie Nance Award

Honoring Exceptional Service in the Hamilton Park School and Community. Freddie Nance was an outstanding woman who gave tirelessly to the community. This award is given to an individual, or individuals, who have shown an exceptional commitment to community service on a broad scale.
The recipient should have demonstrated service to HPPM and other areas of the community at large over an extended period of time. The recipient does not have to be a PTA member, and the award is not given every year.
